Colac Bay House | Linear Range
This 2 bedroom beautiful Bach was built taking in mind the harsh weather conditions to where it was meant to be relocated. Colac Bay is a great Surfing spot located 10min away from Riverton, Southland. It’s community is small but warm and friendly. We enjoyed those days at Colac !
The exterior features Aluminium corrugated cladding due to its proximity to the Ocean and thermally modified timber fascias finished with Sioo:x - low maintenance coating - both from Abodo Wood. Windows are aluminium thermally broken with double glazed low E argon filed glasses.
Internal linings are Birch plywood and joinery is custom made matching the plywood looking. Check also the amazing Roaring Meg fireplace and its beach style pendant lights. We’re all proud of the outcome. Architect + Client + Modulo teamed up to deliver a high quality yet affordable beach house
