Size

 

The Linear is just under 59sqm - two bedroom dwelling with open plan kitchen and living plus one bathroom.

Materials

 

Where possible, the materials used are natural, toxic free materials throughout the dwelling.

Exterior

 

Abodo timber cladding, high quality timber windows and external shutters to close down the spaces.

Interior

 

Beautiful warm interior with Southern Beech Timber Floors throughout and Birch Plywood wall linings all finished with natural oils.

Kitchen

The kitchen is finished to a high standard, with Fisher & Paykel appliances including a Tall DishDrawer, Oven, Induction Cooktop, Extract and Integrated Fridge/Freezer. It has Birch Plywood Cabinetry with Blum Hardware and Stainless Steel Benchtops & Splashback.

Bathroom

 

The Linear will have a full tiled bathroom with a walk in shower (rainhead and mixer), wall mounted toilet with in-wall cistern, underfloor heating, heated towel rails, glass shower screen, window/door that opens to the outside for easy access when you’re coming home from the beach or dirty from working in the garden. Corian Benchtop with a large sink, the washing machine is concealed below the bench in a Birch Plywood Cabinet. Brass tapware by Abi Interiors is used throughout the bathroom along with a brass wall light by Mr Ralph and a large LED Bath Co Mirror above the sink.

Thermal envelope

 

The Linear is produced to a high standard well above the minimums required by building code;

  • R4 to floor & wall cavities (based on using NZ Wool Insulation - Wool Life Product - TBC)

  • R8 to ceiling (based on using NZ Wool Insulation - Wool Life Product - TBC)

  • Air tight Intello Wrap

Heating

 

The Linear will be a warm healthy dwelling to reside in, for extra heating and ambience a New Zealand Made Pyro Classic Mini Fire is in the open living space. The bedrooms have European Wall Mounted Heaters to use if & when required. The dwelling will also have the ability to fit optional air exchange units.
